Compound wall: The compound is the wall that covers the boundary of the house. The compound wall should of more height and thickness in Southern and Western sides as compared to the Northern and Eastern sides, as it prevents negative energy in house. Light walls in North and East sides are beneficial as they ensure morning rays and proper light in house. This way the South and West sides will also become heavier than the rest which is very auspicious.Garage: The best place to construct a garage is the north-west and south-east corner, and never in the north-east, north or east portion of the house.Overhead tanks: Overhead tank for water storage should be placed/constructed in south, west or south-west. However, south-west direction is considered best for an overhead tank according to Vastu. And any kind of underground tank created for storage of water should be in the north-east; it should be noted that an underground tank should never be constructed at the point where north and east directions meet. It should either be in the east or in the west but never in the center.Underground Reservoir: It should always in the northeast and should never be in southeast or south-west. One should cover the all inner portion of the tank with tiles, preferably of white colour, so as to ensure cleanliness of the tank.Well / Bore Well / Tube Well: These should be constructed in North - East or eastern sides to bring all round prosperity and new opportunities for growth.Open space around the building: We have to carefully examine the space given to us around the building and make sure that you are leaving the maximum space in North and East side and less on South and West sides. The construction should never be on the Northern and eastern wall as this violates the basic principle of Vastu. The left area in North should not be less compared to the open area left in the South.The proportion: The ratio between the length and breadth of the building should be 1:1 or 1:1.5 or maximum up to 1:2. It should never exceed this limit in any circumstance, otherwise it will become a 'long bar' shaped plot and is not at all auspicious.The Levels: At any level the West, South, South - West sides should be more elevated than the North, North - East and East sides. Basically, the flow of water should always be from the South to North or West to East.Terrace / Porch / Portico / Balcony: All these should always be located in the North, East or North - East sides of the building to bring the health, wealth and happiness. If one needs to construct balconies in in the southwest, they should be smaller than balconies in the northeast. One can construct an open terrace in the north-east, by constructing major part of the first floor in the southwest. Friday, May 17, 2013

There are many reasons for why a change-work session succeeds. NLP has the reputation of a "one time therapy," which usually means that a client will only have to see you (and pay) once for resolving a specific issue. From my experience in private practice, the most important success factor is your client's cooperation. If your client is not cooperative, there is no use to keep the session going. If they refuse to do things in their imagination as an NLP pattern dictates, you ought to make it clear to them that without their full participation it is not going to work well. In other words, you are not a magician or a Svengali that is forcing clients to get better. You could, in a way, but that would leave you exhausted, frustrated and distressed, which will lead you .. .into therapy yourself.
Now, full cooperation is the success secret on the surface. But looking deeper, we find an interesting therapeutic "fact": in many cases, the change your client desires starts to take place as soon as he or she becomes aware of the purpose or structure of their undesired behaviors or thought patterns. In fact, I've been a witness to the whole process completing in that phase alone!
The most common example is your client who comes in suffering from severe pain, which every physician concludes to be a "phantom pain," and before you even complete a "chunk down" exercise, the pain disappears. By facing the pain; by describing its modalities and submodalities, its subtle characteristics, and most importantly, its "message" or "intention,"O it is as if that subconscious process (inducing pain to protect the core or get attention) has been "caught" and revealed, no longer able to control the person. In other words, once you see how a trick is being done (what the pain was for), you remove the power of the illusion.
This is a fact that you need to remember when you work with clients. Expect it to work, anticipate it, and you will soon notice that your work is much easier. Yes, you need to make your work as easy as possible, because your clients expect to get results and get them fast. NLP is a rapid change work, not a tool you use when you're done with listening to your clients' issues for many hours.
Content VS. Content Free
Another secret that would work well for you as an active practitioner is to avoid working with content as much as possible. As an NLP practitioner, your job is not to provide your client a setting in which he or she can vent out their troubles and miseries. That's what good friends are for, and you are being paid for something completely different.
In fact, your session can be more productive when you prevent your client from venting negative emotions. This helps you guide your client into becoming fully absorbed in the process.
Two excellent examples of this principle are the States Chaining and the Swish patterns. You want your clients to be directed by the pattern into making the resolution that lies within the NLP pattern. With most of my clients I spend ten to fifteen minutes, and not more than 45 minutes. I do not let them dwell on the details of the issue; certainly I would not be willing to hear gossip stories, interpretations of reality, and endless amounts of sorrow. I am not a psychologist; I was educated to deal with the end result, not with what happened when they were three years old, on a rainy day in Boston.
The best setting for a successful NLP procedure is content free. That is, without taking actual details unless you need them. Most of the patterns and method you can find here are content free style. Their mind knows why they're there, and in a subconscious level all the details are being figured out as you move ahead with the process. So your control over which detail goes where and why has no meaning.
Moreover, dwelling on details might prevent your client from actually getting results. You cannot perform the Swish pattern, for example, by indulging your client's desire to tell you the meaning of the color blue in the negative image or the reason that his or her hand looks dim in the positive one. These details interrupt the process and allow doubt to interfere, causing a high likelihood of failure.

A north-east facing plot is best for all type of constructions, whether a house or a business establishment. However, due care must be taken while deciding the construction of the interiors, i.e. rooms and placement of furniture etc. These rules differ with type of business and with establishments nearby. The description of all these rules is as under:RoadThe road on the east side should be lower than the plot and the slope while constructing the building should be from south towards the east direction i.e. from the rear of the house towards the front.Open Space
Open space in the front of the house should be more in comparison to the back side i.e. more space in the north-east than in the south-west.Gate
The main entrance gate to the house should in the northern half of the front. It brings peace and prosperity to the inmates. The gate in design should not be in arc shape i.e. higher in the middle in comparison to the ends/sides.Levels
North - East of the plot should be the lower in construction in comparison to the south-west. This rule applies to the floor levels as well as the top roof/terrace levels of the house.Boundary Wall
The front wall for a east facing house should be lower than the back wall. The east wall for a east facing house may be constructed at the end of the construction, i.e. after constructing the house. The boundary walls in the south-west portion should be wider than walls in the north-east.Water Storage/Sump
Never construct the water storage tank in the back/rear portion of the house. It can be in the front of the house, either in the eastern part or the northern, but not in the center portion in the front/eastern wall of the house.Construction
South-West corner of the house (where south and west walls meet) should never be left open and must be constructed. A servant room or garage, however is better to be in this portion. If a garage is constructed it shouldn't touch the main building of the house i.e. kitchen bedrooms etc., if possible.Bathroom Bathrooms can be constructed in the south-east or south-west portion of the house and never in the north-east. So, the bathroom should be constructed in the back side of the house and not in the front, in case of a NE plot.Door The main door to the house can be in the north-east or mid-east portion of the house. However, the main door should never be in the south-east of the house. No doors should open in the south of the house, however, doors in the west direction can be provided for a lawn etc.Balcony/Verandah Balconies should be in the north-east of the house and never in the south-west, as the sun rays of the morning are beneficial. If any verandahs are constructed in the south-west portion of the house, comparatively bigger verandahs must be provided in the north-east direction.Bedrooms
The master bedroom should be constructed in the south-west of the house, i.e. in the rear side of the house. One should never sleep with head towards the north as this might result in sleeplessness. And the beds should never be placed in the center of the room, and a gap of a few inches must be provided while placing the bed. Children's bedroom should be in the west portion of the house. And a guest room can be constructed in the north-west of the house.Pooja Room
Pooja room should be in the north-east of the house. One's face should be towards the east while praying. A window in the north-east wall is beneficial. And the ceiling of the pooja room should be lower than other rooms.Staircase

The kitchen should be in the south-east of the house. The lady of the house should face while cooking. The sink for cleaning utensils should be in the north-west. Fridge should be in the north-west of the kitchen.First-Floor
More construction should be done in the back potion the house in comparison to the front portion, leaving more space in the north-east. A terrace in the north-east portion is beneficial.Septic Tank
Septic tank can be constructed in the mid-north or mid east.Landscaping
No tall trees should be planted in the north-east, however south-west can be used for plating trees. A lawn in the north east is beneficial. If you like to keep a fountain, it can be installed in the north.Overhead Tank
Overhead tank should be in the south portion of the house, and must be raised a few inches from the roof level.
West Facing Plot
A plot with road in the west side, with main entrance to the plot from west direction, is considered as a west facing plot. According to Vastu, a west facing plot is not considered a very good plot in general. A west facing plot can't be used for all purposes; in some cases it considered good while not in others. However, all the rules of vastu that are applicable to the construction and usage of the plot are as under:RoadThe road in the west side of the plot i.e. the front road of the plot should be higher than the plot, but not higher than the floor of the building i.e. floor level of the rooms, kitchen etc.Open Space
Open space in the front of a west facing house should be minimum. According to Vastu, plots with western roads can build the the house adjoining the compound wall. More open space should be left in the back/rear side (being east and north) of the house in comparison to front of the house.Gate
The main entrance gate to the house should be in the mid-west or northern half of the plot. According to Vastu, a west facing north-west gate is most beneficial for the inmates.Levels
In a west facing plot, area in the south-west of the plot should be raised in comparison to the north-east. So, the verandah and other rooms in the front of the house must be higher than rooms in the rear/back side of the house. In Vastu, while considering these levels, you should take in account the ground floor, first floor and terrace levels, and this rule about levels must be maintained for each floor.Boundary Wall
The front wall for a west facing house should be higher than the back wall. The boundary walls in the south-west portion should be heavier than walls in the north-east.Water Storage/Sump
Never construct the water storage tank in the front portion of the house. It can be in the back of the house, either in the eastern part or the northern, but not in the center portion in the rear/eastern wall of the house.Construction
South-West corner of the house (where south and west walls meet) should never be left open and must be constructed. A servant room or garage, however is better to be in this portion. If a garage is constructed - it shouldn't touch the main building of the house i.e. kitchen bedrooms etc., if possible.Bathroom/Toilets
Bathrooms can be constructed in the south-east or north-west portion of the house and never in the north-east. So, the bathroom should be constructed in the front portion of the house and not in the back portion, in case of a West facing plot. Water taps should be provided in the north and geyser should be provided in the south-west. The slope of the floor should be towards north-east. Avoid painting the bathroom in dark colors like black, brown and red etc.Door
The main door to the house can be in the mid-west, or in the northern half of the front of the house. The backdoor, if needed, can be provided in the mid-east of the back of the house, but never in the east facing south-east. And Vastu doesn't allow a combination of west facing and south facing doors in the house.Balcony/Verandah
Balconies should be in the north-east of the house and never in the south-west, as the sun rays of the morning are beneficial. If any verandahs are constructed in the south-west portion of the house, comparatively bigger verandahs must be provided in the north-east direction. Verandahs, if any, in the south-west should be enclosed in grills or sliding doors.Bedrooms
The master bedroom should be constructed in the south-west of the house, i.e. in the front portion of the house. One should never sleep with head towards the north as this might result in sleeplessness. The beds should never be placed in the center of the room, and a gap of a few inches must be provided while placing the bed. Children's bedroom should be in the west portion of the house. And a guest room can be constructed in the north-west of the house. The bedrooms should be painted in pink or yellowish white.Pooja Room
Pooja room should be in the north-east of the house. One's face should be towards the east while praying. A window in the north-east wall is beneficial. And the ceiling of the pooja room should be lower than other rooms.Staircase

Vastu Tips for Students
Make Better of Your Efforts Let Vastu help you attain better results for your efforts. You might be working hard but not getting results good enough for all the hard work you put yourself through. Vastu is not a magic wand to get you on the top, but it redirects your efforts to the right direction. Following are some of the tips that will help you do just the same:
The room to be chosen for study should be in the east ,North or the North-East direction of the house. These directions improve the absorption power and increase the knowledge content. Along with that if the door of the room is also in either of these directions , the result turns out to be the best.The study room should have images of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswati.The books in the study chamber should be kept in the South-West , South or West direction and not in the North - East .In addition to that if the north - east direction bears heavy weight it shall pressurize the students' mind.Furthermore , if the student studies on the table and chair , the table should not stick to the wall .It should be at least 3 feet away from it . Along with that unnecessary books should not be piled up on the table . Only the books which are needed should be kept on the table. Load of books on the table create unnecessary mental pressure on the mind .The study books should be placed in the cupboard in the cabinet rather than in the open .And if the shutter of the cupboard is kept shut , the flow of energy is constantly maintained.If the learner makes use of the Table lamp then the lamp should be kept in the South-East corner of the desk. Plus if it is a square table then nothing like it. Further the size of the study table should not be too big nor too small. It should be just the size which is comfortable for the working of the student. A big sized table diminishes the working capacity , whereas the small table gives rise to depression.Moreover , if possible , the walls of the study room should be light orange in color as it is very auspicious and enhances the wishing power as well as supports the speedy progress of mind.Along with that , at the same time of study , the learner should use a pyramid cape as it proves to be extremely beneficial . Not only that it embellishes the remembering power and absorption.The student should ensure that after studying when they go off to sleep , their head is in the South direction . It helps in maintaining the magnetic balance of the body and the earth.And last but not the least, a pendulum watch is a must in each and every study roomThe Basic Mathematic Principals Of Numerology
Numerology is based on the idea that everything in the universe is both made up of and affected by numbers. Numerology uses both the letters in your name (which are first translated into numbers) and the numbers in your birthdate to give indications of your true nature, your desires and your destiny. In numerology, the numbers both in your name and in your birthdate are added together to arrive at a single digit that is then analyzed to reveal a meaning. By using your full name, the separate parts of your name and your birthdate in various combinations much can be revealed about who you are and who you are meant to become.
Numerology is probably the simplest of all the forms of mathematics because it only involves addition. The method of addition used in numerology, however, is a bit different than the addition you are most likely used to.
Numerology uses the "Fadic System" (sometimes referred to as natural addition) to reduce multiple-digit numbers to a single digit. With this style of addition, you continue to add together two digits until you arrive at a single number. So for example, rather than seeing the number 23 as twenty-three, it is seen as its separate parts of a 2 and a 3. With natural addition, you would add together the two numbers to come up with a single digit:
23 = 2 + 3 = 5
Here is another example using the number 15 (or broken into its individual digits, 1 and 5):
15 = 1 + 5 = 6
This same principal holds true for larger numbers too. Let’s take the year 1967 (or 1, 9, 6, & 7):
1967 = 1 + 9 + 6 + 7 = 23
This example is a little more complex, because your answer is a two digit number. This means that it must be reduced further until you wind up with a single digit number. So, you would take your answer of 23 (or 2 & 3 ) and get:
2 + 3 = 5
So the whole equation would look like:
1967 = 1 + 9 + 6 + 7 = 23 = 2 + 3 = 5
Once you have mastered the concept of natural addition, the calculations are very simple. Try these practice exercises to see how you do:
1. Reduce the following numbers to a single digit:
a. 143 = 1 + 4 + 3 = 8
b. 46 = 4 + 6 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1
c. 1954 = 1 + 9 + 5 + 4 = 19 = 1 + 9 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1
d. 309 = 3 + 0 + 9 = 12 = 1 + 2 = 3
e. 52 = 5 + 2 = 7
APPLYING THIS TO NUMEROLOGY
The two main types of numerology, Chaldean and Pythagorean, both rely on the single digit number. The last two digit number you calculate before reducing to a single digit also holds importance in Chaldean numerology and is what is known as a double or compound number. The idea is that if you take two people who’s numbers come out to 5, but one has a compound number of 16 and the other has a compound number of 23, there will be slight differences between the two.
As an example of the compound number, lets look at the number 97.
97 = 9 + 7 = 16 = 1 + 6 = 7
In this example, the 16 is the compound number, and the 7 is the completely reduced number.
